Prototype testing
Also called Figma prototype testing, concept testing
Prototype testing puts an unfinished design in front of users to see whether they can complete the key tasks before anything is built.
A prototype can be a clickable Figma flow, a published Figma Make site, a v0 or Claude artifact, or a preview deployment. What matters is that there is something to click, so a tester can attempt the task rather than describe what they would do.
The earlier a problem is found, the cheaper it is to change, but early is also when a recruited round is hardest to justify. That tension is why many prototypes ship untested.
Where Stunt Double fits
Anything with a reachable URL can be tested, including Figma prototypes, Figma Make sites and Claude artifacts. Actors work through the flow and return the steps and the screen where they stopped.
