Where a map pays off
Test the screens you forgot
Plan checklists from the full list of screens, not the ones you remember. Every checklist run adds the pages it passes through.
Catch what a release moved
Pages added, removed or restructured since the last crawl, with reworded copy kept out of the way.
Find dead ends before customers do
Pages that fail to load and links that end at a sign-in wall are marked on the map.
See behind the login
Crawl as an actor with a saved sign-in and dashboards, settings and account pages join the map.
Read feedback in place
Comments from the feedback widget sit on the screen they were left on.
Learn an inherited product fast
Every template, how deep the product goes and where each path leads, without clicking through by hand.
See what each release changed
Pages added, removed or restructured since the last crawl, each with a screenshot. Copy edits don't count, so the list stays short.

FAQs
Will a crawl change anything on my site?
No. Crawls load pages and follow links. Forms are never filled in or submitted.
Can I map pages behind a login?
Yes. Crawl as an actor and their saved sign-in and location come along. Without one, those pages are marked as needing sign-in.
How many pages does a crawl cover?
Up to 500. Repeating pages such as blog posts are sampled three at a time, so the limit goes on distinct screens.
What counts as a change?
A page whose headings, forms, links, title or state moved. Copy edits alone do not count.
What if a crawl fails partway?
Your current map stays. A crawl that runs out of time is saved as a partial version, and one that fails or is stopped never replaces a complete one.
What does Topology cost?
Topology is in preview and included on every plan, for every website project.
