Agentic commerce
Also called agent-led shopping, AI shopping agents
Agentic commerce is buying and booking done by an AI agent on a person’s behalf: the agent searches, compares the options and completes the checkout, and the person approves the result.
The person sets the goal and the limits, such as a budget, a date or a brand they trust. The agent does the legwork across sites, then either completes the purchase or brings back a short list to approve.
For a store, the visitor is no longer always a person looking at the page. An agent that cannot read a price, pick a size or get past a pop-up moves on to the next store, and nobody sees the abandoned cart.
Where Stunt Double fits
Give an actor a shopping task and it works through your checkout in a real browser, so you see the step where an agent would give up before the agents your customers use find it.
